Title Sequence Ideas...

In order to create spooky, suspense looking title sequence to drag the target auidences attention right into the film, they need to have some kind of relationship with the film genre. The typography of the title sequence, music, colours and basically the cinematography of the whole title sequence needs to always relate to the genre of the film in order to keep your audiences intrest towards the film. The mood were trying to create with the title sequence is were the audience are literally dragged into the film and can't get their eyes off the screen.
Title sequences- Westside Story, Robert Wise 1961

Looking at other title sequences such as, "Westside Stroy", the urban wall setting and the stlye of the font used, graffiti automatically links in with genre of the film and the the setting and time era the film is based around. Similarly this wall type brick theme is linked in with I.C.U's title sequence and its last film poster, this creates a housestlye and allows us as the auidence to realise that they belong to the same media product.
